AerCap sees stable lease rates for Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 next generation aircraft in the market.

Peter Wortel, vice president of investor relations at the Irish lessor, says that lease rates for the A320 are stable while they are stable to picking up for the 737 next generation, at the 2012 Dahlman Rose Global Transportation Conference in New York today.

He declines to comment on 737 classic rates because the lessor has seen little activity with the type recently.

A320 rates are coming off a downward slide earlier this year. Rentals began stabilising in July and August, said Aengus Kelly, chief executive of AerCap, during the lessor's second quarter earnings call in August.

Lease rates for Airbus A330s are also increasing, says Wortel.
