A China Eastern Airlines Airbus A320 was involved in a ground collision with a China Southern Airlines Boeing 777 on 27 August. The 777's wingtip struck the A320's vertical tail as the Airbus was leaving its stand, says the Civil Aviation Administration of China. The Northern China Administration Bureau is investigating the cause of the incident.
