Airbus has completed cold-weather tests of the prototype A350-900 at Iqaluit airport, wrapping up the programme in less than a week.

The twinjet, MSN3, had flown to the Canadian airport on 24 January for tests covering engine and auxiliary power unit start, system behaviour following cold-soak, taxiing and rejected take-off.

Airbus says the aircraft also conducted a local flight.
