Aberdeen Airport has announced plans to upgrade its terminal building to improve passenger facilities and provide more capacity.

The Scottish airport will invest a total of £45 million ($70 million) on improvements between now and 2021, including £5 million to expand the international arrivals area and £3 million to boost capacity within the terminal and expand the security search area.
