Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport has resumed full operations a day after a Saudia Cargo Boeing 747 veered off, and partially blocked, the runway.

The incident, involving flight SVA6814, happened at 22:12 local time on 5 December, after the aircraft had landed safely.

Nigeria’s aviation ministry says an investigation into the incident has begun.
