Aegean details Hamburg route launch plans

Aegean Airlines will start its new flights flights from Athens and Crete to Hamburg in late May.

Starting 27 May, the route between Athens and Hamburg will be operate thrice-weekly with an Airbus A320.

It will be the first time in a decade that the Greek capital and northern German port city will be connected with direct flights, says Hamburg’s airport operator.

The Star Alliance also plans to start twice-weekly flights between Heraklion and Hamburg from 29 May.
