Aer Lingus names new chief financial officer

Irish flag-carrier Aer Lingus has named Andrew Macfarlane as interim chief financial officer, following the sudden departure of Sean Coyle.

Macfarlane has served as the chief financial officer of diversified services company Rentokil Initial.

He was previously with companies incluidng accountancy firm Ernst & Young and hotel operator Holiday Inn. Macfarlane is to join Aer Lingus immediately.
