Aeroflot has tentatively selected three domestic routes for deploying Sukhoi Superjet 100 regional twinjets.
A spokesman for the airline says it is expecting to receive two of the type this month with a view to starting operating them before summer.
The schedule involving Superjets is not yet disclosed but a source at the company says it tentatively envisages regular services on three routes.
These include one daily Moscow-Kazan flight, to be added on 1 May, as well as rotations to St Petersburg and Omsk starting from 1 June and 1 August respectively.
While declining to specify when Superjets 100s will be handed over to Aeroflot, a spokesman for Sukhoi says: "If it is planning to put these aircraft into service on 1 May, it will get them on time."
