Aeroflot Russian Airlines is looking to sell and leaseback a new Airbus A321 aircraft this month, according to a document.
The Russian carrier is seeking approval on the transaction a board of directors' meeting this week.
The new aircraft (MSN 5720) is powered by CFM International CFM56-5B3/3 engines.
Aeroflot's agenda will also include approval for a change in lessors in the lease agreements of two Airbus aircraft it currently operates.
The first aircraft, an A330-300 (MSN 1103) was delivered new to Aeroflot in 2010. The 772B-60EP-powered aircraft is leased from AerCap until 2019.
The second aircraft, an A320 (MSN 3923) was delivered new to Aeroflot in 2009. The CFM56-5B4/3powered aircraft is leased from GECAS until 2017.
