Aeroflot Russian Airlines is expected to get approval on the lease of four new Boeing 777 from GECAS at the supervisory board meeting on 21 December.
The Russian carrier says the 777-300ER aircraft are powered by General Electric GE90-115B engines.
Aeroflot ordered eight aircraft of the type in February 2011 and signed for another eight at the Paris air show in June.
The first four aircraft, scheduled for delivery in 2013, have been mandated to VEB Leasing under a 12-year finance lease contract. The Russian carrier will receive four units in January, February, March and April 2013.
In 2014 six 777-300ERs are scheduled for delivery, while the remaining six will arrive in 2015 and 2016.
