Aerolfot's newly formed far-eastern subsidiary Aurora has unveiled its route network and flight schedule.

The enlarged carrier, which is headquartered in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, incorporates Sakhalin Airways and Vladivostok Avia.

During the winter season, starting 27 October, it will provide regular services on five international and 13 domestic routes, using Airbus A320s, Boeing 737s and Bombardier Dash 8/Q200/Q300s.

Aurora will operate flights from Khabarovsk, Vladivostok and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. International destinations will include Hong Kong, Kharbin, Pusan, Seoul and Sapporo.

General manager Konstantin Sukhorebrik expects the airline to receive a further six A319/A320s over the next year.

Vladivostok Avia is to retain its brand, under which it will conduct longer-range domestic and international flights.
