Cedric Gautier has succeeded Christian Cornille as chief executive of Airbus Group’s French aerostructures subsidiary Aerolia.

Cornille joined Airbus Helicopters as executive vice-president earlier this month.

Gautier had since 2011 bean leading the A400M programme as senior vice-president and served as chief executive of the manufacturer’s military business in France.

Prior to that, he was chief executive of the group’s EADS Sogerma subsidiary, where he implemented an “extensive restructuring plan” to turn around the aerostructures and cabin interiors specialist.
