Aveos's El Salavdor-based narrowbody maintenance subsidiary Aeroman is expanding its site with a new three-bay hangar, which is to be opened in April.
The 7,600m² (82,000ft²) facility will bring the total number of airframe maintenance bays from eight to 11, increasing capacity by around 37%.
In terms of its footprint, the existing 27,300m² site will grow by 27%.
After the ground breaking earlier this month, the new hangar is to be completed in April.
"By adding extra capacity we'll be in a position to continue to both grow our business and satisfy our customers," said Joe Kolshak, president and chief executive of Montreal-based Aveos.
Aeroman employs about 1,500 members of staff.
