Aeromexico submitted an application with the US Export-Import Bank for financing support for its upcoming Boeing 737 deliveries, according to the export credit agency.

The carrier will receive three Boeing 737-800s this year, followed by another two in 2014 and two additional units in 2015, Flightglobal's Ascend Online database shows.

Speaking on a conference call last week, the carrier's chief financial officer Ricardo Sanchez Baker said Aeromexico will remove this year three Boeing 767s, two 737-700s and six Embraer 145s.
