Aeromexico will begin flights between Los Angeles and La Paz on 20 June.

The airline will operate twice weekly on the route with Embraer 190 aircraft.

Horizon Air, an Alaska Air Group subsidiary, operates once weekly between Los Angeles and La Paz but will cease flying on the route from 7 April, according to regulatory filings.

The Mexican carrier has a codeshare agreement with Alaska Airlines, and Aeromexico passengers can connect to other destinations within Alaska's network from Los Angeles, says Aeromexico.
