Aeromexico has posted a 0.1% increase in passenger traffic in October compared to the same period a year earlier, coupled with a 3.8% increase in capacity.
The load factor declined 2.7 percentage points year-over-year to 75.6%, says the carrier. The group transported 1.25 million passengers in October, up 1% year-on-year.
Domestic traffic grew by 3.5% and capacity by 14.1% year-on-year, as the domestic load factor decreased 6.8 percentage points to 70.2%.
International traffic fell 2.1% and capacity decreased by 3%, with the international load factor rising 0.5% to 79.7%.
On a year-to-date basis, passenger traffic rose 4.3% and capacity grew 6.5%.
The load factor fell 1.8 percentage points to 76.7% year-to-date, adds Aeromexico.
