Aeromexico has posted a 0.6% increase in passenger traffic in August compared to a year earlier, on the back of a 6.1% increase in capacity.
The load factor declined 4.5 percentage points to 75.4%, says the carrier. The group transported 1.3 million passengers in August, up 0.6% year-on-year.
Domestic traffic grew by 2.3% and capacity by 8.7% year-on-year, as the domestic load factor decreased 4.9 percentage points to 72.8%.
International traffic fell 0.5% and capacity increased by 4.4%, with the international load factor down 4.1 percentage points to 77.2%.
On a year-to-date basis, passenger traffic rose 5.2% and capacity grew 6.9%.
