Aeromexico traffic up 0.8% in March

Aeromexico has posted a 0.8% increase in passenger traffic in March compared to the same period a year earlier, coupled with a 6% increase in capacity.

The load factor declined 3.9 percentage points year-on-year to 74.1%, says the carrier.

Domestic traffic decreased by 14.2%, while capacity decreased by 4.3% year-on-year, as the domestic load factor decreased eight percentage points to 69.1%.

International traffic rose 12.2% and capacity increased by 13.8%, with the international load factor decreasing by 1.3 percentage points to 77.3%.

For the first three months of the year, passenger traffic rose 1.3% and capacity grew 6.1%, resulting in a 3.4 percentage point decrease in load factor to 73.5%.
