Aeromexico traffic up 2.6% in November

Aeromexico has posted a 2.6% increase in passenger traffic in November compared to the same period a year earlier, coupled with a 4.8% increase in capacity.

The load factor declined 1.7 percentage points year-over-year to 76.1%, says the carrier. The group transported 1.24 million passengers in November, up 0.6% year-on-year.

Domestic traffic grew by 1.6% and capacity by 6.3% year-on-year, as the domestic load factor decreased 3.4 percentage points to 73.4%.

International traffic rose 3.3% and capacity increased by 3.8%, with the international load factor decreasing by 0.4 percentage point to 78.1%.

On a year-to-date basis, passenger traffic rose 4.1% and capacity grew 6.3%.

The load factor fell 1.8 percentage points to 76.7% year-to-date, adds Aeromexico.
