Aeromexico traffic up 8% in November

Aeromexico has posted a 8% growth in passenger traffic in November, on the back of a 12% growth in capacity.

The load factor declined three percentage points to 77.8%, said the carrier.

Domestic traffic fell 9%, and capacity was down 4%. The domestic load factor declined 3.9 percentage points to 76.9%.

International traffic traffic grew 24% year-on-year, and capacity increased 27%. The international load factor fell 2.3 percentage points to 78.5%.

On a year-to-date basis, total passenger traffic rose 23% and ASKs were up 22%. The load factor grew 0.6 percentage point to 78.5%.

Domestic traffic grew 11% and capacity was up 7% on a year-to-date basis. The domestic load factor grew 2.9 percentage points to 76.9%.

International traffic rose 32% and capacity increased 22%. The international load factor declined 1.7 percentage points to 79.6%.
