Aeronautical Engineers (AEI) has appointed Malaysian maintenance firm Airod Aerospace Technology as an approved centre for Boeing 737-300 and -400 special freighter conversions.
The Kuala Lumpur-based repair station is the first AEI-authorised conversion centre in Southeast Asia and the fifth worldwide. AEI will open one maintenance line at the facility.
AEI now has ten conversion lines across five facilities in the USA, China and Malaysia.
Airod Aerospace Technology is a subsidiary of National Aerospace and Defence Industries.
