Aircraft Financing and Trading has sold its final Fokker 100 aircraft to Western Australian regional carrier Skippers Aviation.

The Dutch aircraft leasing and asset management company sold a 1992-vintage aircraft (MSN 11410) to the turboprop operator. The deal completes a two-aircraft sale assignment with the first aircraft (11420) sold in January.

Skippers Aviation specialises in mining crew changes, executive charters and general flying for the mining industry in Western Australia, as well as search and rescue and medevac operations. It operates a scheduled network in Western Australia with Bombardier Dash 8-100/300s and Embraer Brasilia turboprops.

Aircraft Financing and Trading has sold four Fokker 100s during the past year. Last December it placed a Fokker 100 (11307) with Kenya's Skyward Aviation while earlier in the year it placed one Fokker 100 (11315) with Air Panama.

The company says it has no aircraft of the type left in its portfolio but still remarkets Fokker 100s for third parties.
