Door and fence manufacturer Wiśniowski has become the first Polish company to order an AgustaWestland GrandNew light twin-engined helicopter.
"This sale reinforces the presence of AgustaWestland in Poland, where its subsidiary [and GrandNew fuselage manufacturer] PZL-Świdnik is based," says the Anglo-Italian airframer.
The Pratt & Whitney PWC207C-powered GrandNew is the latest variant of the Grand platform, equipped with a new cockpit, 4-axis digital autopilot, synthetic vision, terrain awareness and warning system, enhanced vision system and digital map. The VIP-configured helicopter will be used for corporate transportation when it is delivered later this year.
