Middle Eastern budget carrier Air Arabia has contracted Jordan Aircraft Maintenance (JorAMco) for C-checks on seven Airbus A320 aircraft.

Aside from the regular airframe work, the package covers engine replacements, service bulletins and airworthiness directives as well as other modifications.

The first aircraft has already been inducted at JorAMco's facility in Amman, Jordan.

Air Arabia operates 20 A320s and has firm orders for another 41 of the type, according to Flightglobal's ACAS database.
