Kazakhstan's Air Astana is to open a new service connecting the capital, Astana, with London Heathrow.
Air Astana already operates between Almaty and London.
The carrier is to arrange its schedule to fly a weekly triangular route connecting Almaty-London-Astana, and then flying the reverse triangle weekly.
Air Astana will complement these links with weekly non-stop flights connecting Almaty and London.
It will begin the new services on 29 October, it states, using Boeing 757-200 jets configured with 16 business-class and 150 economy-class seats.
Air Astana operates a fleet of five 757s along with two Boeing 767-300ERs, 13 Airbus A320-family jets and seven Embraer 190s.
