Air Baltic has disclosed a tentative agreement covering the acquisition of another four Bombardier Q400 turboprops.
The Latvian carrier is restructuring and developing a fleet based on the Q400 and Bombardier CS300 twinjet.
It has newly firmed an agreement to take 10 CS100s but, in an accompanying presentation, says it has a letter of intent for four additional Q400s.
Air Baltic's pact for the CS300s includes an option for a CSeries simulator which, it says, will "ensure that [our] crews can be smoothly transitioned".
Its CSeries contract also covers purchase rights on 10 more CS300s.
