Denmark-based Nordic Aviation Capital has completed the purchase of another new Bombardier Q400 NextGen aircraft from the Canadian manufacturer, placing it on lease to Air Baltic.

The aircraft (MSN 4448) is the third of a four-aircraft deal with the Latvian low-cost carrier.

Nordic Aviation Capital signed a firm agreement for four Q400 aircraft in April.

Air Baltic operates the NAC leased aircraft alongside eight other Q400s it ordered from the airframer in 2012.

It has also placed a firm order for 10 CSeries CS300 aircraft as it adopts an all-Bombardier fleet to replace older turboprops. The carrier was Bombardier's launch customer for the CS300 model, which can be configured with up to 160 seats.
