Latvian carrier Air Baltic will increase the frequency of flights between Riga and Moscow this summer.

The carrier will operate seven weekly flights, up from twice weekly last summer, to Moscow Domodedovo airport. Flights will be operated in codeshare with Transaero Airlines, said Air Baltic.

Air Baltic's chief executive, Martin Gauss, said the carrier had seen a 31% rise in the number of passengers travelling to Russian destinations over the last year.
