Air Baltic to boost services to Vienna, Munich and Zurich

Lativian carrier Air Baltic will boost flight frequencies from the country's capital, Riga, to Vienna, Munich and Zurich.

The airline will commence twelve-weekly flights from Riga to Vienna in Austria and Munich in Germany on 25 March 2012, up from seven-weekly flights to both destinations in the previous summer schedule.

The carrier said it would operate the Riga-Vienna service in cooperation with Austrian Airlines.

Air Baltic will increase the number of flights from Riga to Zurich in Switzerland from six-weekly to daily.

According to the the Innovata schedule, Air Baltic is the only carrier to operate nonstop flights from Riga to Vienna, Munich and Zurich.
