Air Baltic will launch flights to the Moldovan capital Chisinau on 29 October as part of its winter schedule, as well as increasing frequencies on several other routes.
The Latvian flag carrier will operate twice weekly flights between Riga and Chisinau, becoming the sole operator on the route.
In addition, Air Baltic will increase the frequency of services from Riga to London, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Vienna, Munich, Dusseldorf, Oslo, Bergen and Billund this coming winter.
The airline will add one weekly flight to London, Dusseldorf and Bergen as compared with the previous winter schedule - boosting services to eight, five and four times weekly respectively.
It will also add two weekly services each for its winter schedule to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam - increasing frequencies to nine, ten and nine flights per week respectively.
Moreover, the Riga-Vienna and Riga-Munich will be increased to ten flights weekly, up from seven times weekly last winter.
