Air Canada has named Duncan Dee as its new chief operating officer and executive vice-president, succeeding retiring Bill Bredt.
Dee, who takes up the post on 3 April, will report directly to new chief executive Calin Rovinescu.
He joined the Canadian flag-carrier 12 years ago and was appointed executive vice-president, customer experience and chief administrative officer in 2007.
Dee also previously had responsibility for legal and government affairs and corporate safety.
Bill Bredt is stepping down after 36 years at Air Canada and its Jazz division.
