Air China has launched a four times weekly Shanghai Pudong-Lanzhou service.
The service will be operated using Airbus A320 aircraft.
The carrier did not specify the route's launch date.
Schedules in Innovata show that Air China competes with carriers such as China Eastern Airlines and Hainan Airlines on the route.
Lanzhou is located in the northwest Gansu province.
