Air China passenger traffic up by 10.3% in November

Chinese flag carrier Air China has posted a 10.3% increase in its RPKs in November this year compared with the same month last year.

Its international and domestic passenger traffic, measured in RPKs, grew by 11.5% and 9.4%, respectively.

Air China's passenger capacity, measured in ASKs, was up by 6.6% year on year.

Its domestic capacity increased by 5.6%, while its international capacity rose by 8.1%, the airline said.

The airline's passenger load factor for the month increased by 2.7 percentage points to 79.5%.

Its revenue freight tonne kilometres (RFTK) decreased by 13.4%, while its freighter tonnage carried declined by 6.3% to 98,900 tonnes.

The airline's cargo capacity, measured in available freight tonne kilometres (AFTK), declined by 2.1%, while its cargo load factor decreased by 7.5 percentage points year on year to 57.1%.
