Spanish carrier Air Europa has taken a 2010-vintage Airbus A330-300 aircraft under an operating lease contract with AWAS.
The aircraft (MSN 1097) is equipped with Rolls Royce Trent 772B-60 engines. It was previously operated by Orbest Espana, according to Flightglobal's Ascend online database.
The airline will use the A330-300 to enhance trans-Atlantic service to its passengers, says AWAS.
The transaction marks the second time Air Europa operates the A330-300 model. Another ex-Orbest A330-300 (MSN 670) that was built in 2005, was delivered from CIT Aerospace earlier this month.
Ascend shows that the Spanish carrier has 11 A330-200s in its fleet along with 11 Embraer 195, one ERJ-135, one ATR 72 and 19 Boeing 737-800s.
