Etihad Airways and Air France have strengthened their partnership with the addition of further codeshare destinations.
The codeshare extension will start during the airlines' summer schedules and cover destinations in Africa, Asia, Australia and Europe. It furthers the carriers' plan, announced in October 2012, to "build an expanded global network".
Etihad will place its code on Air France-operated connections from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport to Oslo, Stockholm and - subject to regulatory approval - Lisbon and Marseille.
Air France will place its code on Etihad's flights from Abu Dhabi to Khartoum, Melbourne and Sydney, from Singapore to Brisbane, and from Abu Dhabi to Kathmandu.
