Air France and Air Mauritius have expanded their existing codeshare partnership on the route between Paris Charles de Gaulle and the island nation’s main airport, Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International.
The French carrier will employ Air Mauritius flight numbers on a range of connecting European services from Charles de Gaulle.
Air Mauritius will use Air France codes on flights to Reunion.
The original codeshare agreement was arranged in 2008.
Air France says it will also support Air Mauritius in terms of commercial operations, revenue management, procurement, maintenance and cost reductions, particularly regarding fuel savings.
Air Mauritius is aiming to join the SkyTeam airline alliance, of which Air France was a founding member.
