Air France-KLM is to codeshare with India's Jet Airways.
Under the arrangement Air France will be able to market flights under the AF flight code to Indian cities beyond Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai, such as Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad.
KLM customers will be able to connect to Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai, via Delhi, while Jet's customers will gain access to the SkyTeam carrier's networks via Paris and Amsterdam.
The deal, which kicks in on 19 June, comes less than two months after Etihad Airways' agreed the purchase of a stake in India's Jet Airways.
Etihad and Air France-KLM set up their own codeshare partnership in October 2012.
