Air France-KLM funded €33 million ($44 million) worth of aircraft transactions in the sale-and-leaseback market during the years first half.

Gross investments totalled €808 million during the six-month period as the group took delivery of a new Airbus A380, a Boeing 777-300ER and two 737-800s while three Embraer 190s joined the fleet under operating lease contracts. The group said earlier this year that it would also be in the market for refinancing some aircraft in 2014.

The group financed €111 million-worth of aircraft through sale-and-leaseback transactions in the first six months of last year. For the full year, sale-and-leaseback deals amounted to €123 million.

Flightglobal’s Ascend Fleets database shows that the group has no deliveries scheduled in the second half of 2014.
