Joint venture partners Air France-KLM and Delta Air Lines expect to move to a fully integrated US sales team before the end of March 2010.

The carriers are in the process of deploying new joint contracts for corporate customers and travel agencies in the USA through a coordinated team under Delta leadership. Staffers on both sides have been learning from each other.

"The next step is to move to one sales manager for the USA, covering Air France, KLM and Delta before the end of March," Air France-KLM vice-president and generational manager, USA Christine Ourmieres told ATI during a recent interview in Washington DC.

"We are in the process of going through the human resources process of selecting and recruitment."

Air France-KLM and Delta inked a wide-ranging transatlantic joint venture in May.
