Air France-KLM's passenger traffic grew 1.1% year-on-year in July against a capacity increase of 1.6%.
The airline carried 7.43 million passengers during the month - up 1.5% year-on-year - while load factor decreased 0.4 percentage points to 86.9%.
Passenger traffic in the Americas grew by 2% on capacity growth of 1.5%, leading to a 0.4 percentage point increase in load factor to 90.7%.
The Asia-Pacific network recorded traffic growth of 3.3%, while capacity grew 5.6%. Load factor decreased by 2 percentage points to 89.4%.
On the Africa and Middle East network, traffic fell 4% on a capacity cut of 4.1%, leading to load factor growth of 0.1 percentage points to 85.1%.
Caribbean and Indian Ocean routes witnessed declining traffic on reduced capacity, falling by 3.3% and 5.7% respectively. The load factor grew by 2.1 percentage points to 85.5%.
In the European network, traffic grew 3.2% year-on-year against a 5.2% rise in capacity, while load factor fell 1.6 percentage points to 80.4%.
Air France-KLM's cargo business continued to experience difficulties in July, with cargo traffic falling 5.5% on capacity cuts of 1.6%. Load factor dropped 2.5 percentage points to 61.6%.
