Air France-KLM and Intro Aviation are refusing to comment on reports that the SkyTeam carrier has agreed to sell its regional subsidiary CityJet to the German airline investor.

A preliminary agreement has been reached to sell Dublin-based CityJet according to a Bloomberg report, citing people familiar with the deal. It says a final decision on the sale depends on due diligence.

Intro Aviation in April confirmed it was among the bidders interested in acquiring CityJet. Air France in February short-listed six investor candidates for the Irish carrier.

Turnaround specialist Intro Aviation has acquired and subsequently sold a number of airlines, including German charter carrier LTU and former British Airways subsidiary Deutsche BA.
