Air France-KLM traffic up in October

SkyTeam partner Air France-KLM's traffic in October increased by 9%, although this comparison benefited from the effects of a strike in the same month last year.

Excluding the strike, traffic rose by around 3.6%. The carrier transported 6.6 million passengers - an increase of 5.7% - and posted a rise in revenues, outside of currency effects.

Load factor for October was up slightly at 81.3%.

Air France-KLM's freight traffic fell by 4.4%, while capacity was raised by 2.1%, leading to a 4.5-point drop in load factor to 65.5%.
