Willis Lease Finance has expanded its MRO partnership with Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance.
The California-based engine lease specialist has renewed its existing maintenance agreement for “multiple years” and extended the equipment scope, says the Franco-Dutch MRO group.
While the previous deal covered General Electric CF6-80 and CFM International CFM56-7B engines – the latter of which power current-generation Boeing 737s – the new agreement also includes CFM56-5 engines for Airbus models, GE90s for the 777, and APUs.
It covers repairs and overhauls, on-wing support and lease-return checks. All work will be conducted on a time-and-materials basis.
KLM’s subsidiary repair shop EPCOR in Amsterdam will conduct the APU work.
