Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance has appointed Thierry Lubin as marketing and sales vice-president of its engine component repair subsidiary CRMA.

Lubin was previously responsible for sales of used engine spare parts at AFI’s powerplant division and thus built up a “considerable network” among traders and OEMs for such stock, says the MRO group.

CRMA, based near Paris, specialises in engine part and module repairs for CFM International CFM56, General Electric CF6, and Engine Alliance GP7200 powerplants.

AFI KLM E&M says Lubin was central in integrating CRMA into the group’s “Very Big Engine” repair services.
