Air France is preparing to debut the Thales head-up display on the Airbus A380 following the device's certification on the type.

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has approved the head-up display in both single and dual configuration.

Air France has selected the equipment in dual configuration for its 538-seat A380, the first example of which will be delivered to the airline on 30 October.

China Southern Airlines and Korean Air have also signed up to the head-up display, says Thales.
