South Korean start-up Air Incheon has purchased a Boeing 737-400SF from Jetran International for domestic services.

The 1991-vintage high gross weight aircraft (MSN 24912) is equipped with CFM56-3B1 engines and was previously operated by Italian low-cost carrier Air One.

It was acquired from GECAS in January and is undergoing an 11-pallet configuration freighter conversion at Aeronautical Engineers Inc (AEI).

"This will be the first 737-400SF to operate in South Korea and is added to the growing list of AEI firsts including Brazil, Russia, New Zealand, Bulgaria and Turkey," comments Robert Conway, AEI vice-president sales and marketing.
