Air India and Asiana Airlines have signed a codeshare agreement for flights between Seoul and Indian destinations.

Under the agreement, the airlines would codeshare on flights operated by each other between India and Seoul on a "free flow basis", says Air India.

The carrier adds that the required testing system for the codeshare co-operation is expected to begin soon.

Air India has proposed to expand the agreement to include additional sectors on both carriers' network, based on connectivity and approvals from the necessary regulatory authorities.
