Air India has postponed the due date for bids covering five 777-200LRs on dry lease by two weeks.
The carrier issued a request for proposal earlier this month as it seeks a dry lease agreement for a period of six to 10 years.
Four aircraft, with the registrations VT-ALA, VT-ALB, VT-ALC, and VT-ALD, were manufactured in 2007. The fifth, VT-ALE, was manufactured in 2008.
Initially bids had to be submitted by 26 June 2012. Under the new amendment, bids have to be sent by 11 July.
