Air India will launch a new daily direct service from New Delhi to Sydney and Melbourne on 29 August.

The Indian flag carrier will operate four times weekly on the New Delhi-Sydney-Melbourne route, while on the other three days it will operate the New Delhi-Melbourne-Sydney route.

The airline will deploy Boeing 787-8 aircraft for the service.

Innovata schedules show that Air India will be the sole operator on the New Delhi to Sydney and Melbourne routes.
