Air Malta has expanded its current codeshare agreements with Etihad Airways, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines and Italian airline Meridiana Fly.
Its revised agreement with Etihad will allow passengers to travel between Malta and Abu Dhabi via London Heathrow, Manchester and Brussels airports.
The Maltese airline widened its codeshare agreement with Austria's flag carrier by placing its code on Austrian-operated flights from Vienna to Bucharest and Warsaw.
It will also place its code on Lufthansa-operated flights to Stockholm and Oslo via Munich, while its codeshare deal with Brussels Airlines will continue to offer daily connections to Copenhagen via the Belgian capital.
Air Malta's agreement with Meridiana will further see it offering codeshared flights to Torino via Rome's Fiumicino airport.
